What is a CPCC and holistic approach?

CPCC means Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. As a CPCC, I honour my clients and trust that they are capable of finding their own answers to create a balanced and fulfilled life that they truly desire. I also integrate holistic approach to help clients develop the connection between their body, mind and soul; and to understand how these different dimensions impact their well being.

How does Life Coaching work?

In Life Coaching sessions, we focus on where are you now in the present, what your want to achieve or improve in life in the future. I will guide you to go toward reach your wishes and dream. In other words, life coaching brings you from where you are to where you want to be.

Coach and Client form a professional partnership by designing alliance, which is based on trust, honesty and confidentiality.


How do I start the process of Life Coaching?

You can contact me to set up a discovery session, which lasts 90 minutes (either face to face or via phone/skype). In the discovery session, we will look at your current situation in life and work, and explore your needs and desires. It forms a solid foundation of our coaching relationship as we discover your core values, clarify your goals and focus, and identify challenges that are holding you back.


What happens during a Life Coaching session?

Each session starts with a recap on the assigned homework from previous session and a quick overview on the progress and learning. Then we set the intention and any specific goal that you want to achieve from that session. We will explore where you are at that moment, what’s the emotion toward the current situation and then we’ll dive into coaching. At the end of the coaching, I may give you a challenge, an inquiry or actions to follow up, expand and reinforce the learning from our session.


How long are the Life Coaching sessions?

Coaching session takes approximately 60 minutes. It can be scheduled every week or every two weeks, whatever suits you best. For existing clients who have been coached more than 3 months, coaching session can convert to month to month basis depending on your schedule.


How many Life Coaching session will I need?

It’s a personal decision based on your experience. In some cases, coaching might last only 3 months; for others, it may continue up to a year or more, depending on what you want to achieve.

Changes take time, so I recommend 3 months commitment to coaching because it will allow you to fully experience the benefit of coaching before you decide the effectiveness of it. Working with a coach not only requires financial commitment, but also commitment of your time and energy in order to achieve life changing goal.


Where does Life Coaching take place?

Coaching mostly takes place over the phone or via skype, with the client calling the coach. Face to face coaching session is available for those who live in Hong Kong and in Shenzhen.

What is the difference between Life Coaching and traditional modes of consulting?

In traditional modes of consulting, consulting services are problem solving oriented as consultants provides services to clients with advices.

Coaches and clients are both equal, working shoulder to shoulder and co-creating the relationship. Clients are their own experts in their lives and therefore, life coaching focus on the whole person rather than the problems of the clients.


What is the difference between Life Coaching and traditional forms of therapy or counselling?

Traditional forms of therapy or counselling are past – present focused. It deals with healing pain, dysfunction and conflict within an individual or in relationships, and clients is hold as broken.

Coaching is present – future focused. It supports personal and professional growth based on self-initiated changes in pursuit of specific goals. Coaches don’t fix clients because we hold clients as naturally creative, resourceful and whole.
